Buying Tickets

When will I receive my tickets?

Tickets are dispatched 3-4 days before the match day. The tickets are sent via Royal Mails next day recorded delivery service.

Last minute orders

In order to ensure that you receive your tickets on time, you must order tickets before 12pm on the day before the game. Tickets ordered after 12pm will have to be collected from a collection point that will be setup by the ticket seller.

Collection points

In cases where tickets may not be posted sellers will setup a collection point that’s convenient to the buyer in order to hand over the tickets purchased. If collection is required the seller will be in touch to provide specific information on the location and time that the tickets must be collected.

E-tickets

E-tickets will be sent out 3-4 days before match day.

Where is the best place to sit in the stadium?

All the stadiums are divided into two parts: a long side and a short side. The long side positions are in the field while the short side positions are behind the paint. The long sides give you a better view for the game because you can both the goals. Short sides again give fans a more exciting atmosphere. Especially in the face of a goal. Once you decide whether you want to sit on a short or long side, the next decision is to choose the upper or lower stand. With regard to price, formatting of long sides is usually more expensive than other places. The cheapest places are on top of the short sides. One option worth considering is the VIP lounge. These places usually offer both the best visibility but are also the most highest price. In most stadiums, VIP seats can be found between upper and lower formats of long sides, but this depends entirely on the stadium. Occasionally VIP places have access to a private room behind the watch. In the room you can enjoy refreshments before, after, or during the game. VIP tickets available on Ticket Pad will tell you in detail what is included in the ticket price.

How do I make sure I'm sitting with the away fans at the game?

When you are looking through the available ticket options for a particular game, look out for seats labelled as 'AWAY FANS'. Tickets seated with the away/traveling fans are always labelled this way to avoid fans sitting with the wrong set of supporters.

Note: Official match stewards will prevent fans access or remove you from the stadium if trying to enter the 'home' sections of a stadium and wearing 'away' club t shirts and clothing.

Will my tickets be seated together?

We understand that sitting together is a big part of the matchday experience. Football Ticket Pad guarantees that when you purchase a pair of tickets, those tickets will always be seated together. However, often we can secure more than 2 tickets all seated together. Get in touch with us if you would like 3 or more tickets seated together and we will do everything we can to secure those tickets for you. Do you charge a booking fee?

Yes, we charge a 21% booking fee which is added to your order when you click through to the final checkout page.

Why are tickets to one match more expensive than another?

Football Ticket Pad is a platform giving football fans the opportunity to buy and sell official matchday tickets. The price of a particular ticket is set by the person selling the ticket and and that price is influenced by how 'in demand' tickets are for the fixture. For example, tickets for Man Utd v Man City in the Premier League will be considerably higher than tickets for West Ham v Crystal Palace. The reason being that the Manchester Derby fixture is a higher profile game with more potential football fans wanting to get matchday tickets to watch the match.

The seats I want doesn't state exact seat number/row, how will I know where I am sitting?

Often the club will not give out an exact seat number/row until close to the fixture being played. Complete your purchase and we will contact you with your exact seat number/row after the club has allocated exact seat numbers/rows.

The ticket I want to order is a season card, what are season cards?

Season cards are offered by the club to fans as an alternative to buying a season ticket. The difference being that a season ticket is a ticket to all home and/or away games throughout a season but a season card entitles a fan to buy specific tickets for certain games. Therefore, when you purchase a ticket from www.footballticketpad.com that is specified as a season card, you will be using the sellers season card for the game you have paid for. The season card will be sent to you before the match and you return the season card to the seller after you have been to the match.

Do any ticket options require me to be a club member or season card / season ticket holder?

No. We will provide you with everything you will need to enter the stadium on matchday.
